Curriculum Vitae

 

Parisa Kashi is currently an M.Sc. student in Laser and Photonics at Ruhr University Bochum, a recipient of the Optica Women Scholars 2026 award, and a student assistant in the Nonlinearity Engineering (NLE) group. She has experience in the design, development, and optimization of solid-state laser systems and laser oscillators. Her current work focuses on ultrafast fiber lasers and fiber amplifiers, with particular emphasis on Gain-Managed Nonlinear (GMN) amplification. Her research interests include ultrafast photonics, nonlinear optics, fiber laser technology, laser system design, and experimental laser engineering.
